Wow!  We are so lucky to be in the Chicago area.  I’d say it’s the most picturesque city I’ve ever seen.  Lots of “photo opps.”  Here’s a prime example–the Bahá’í House of Worship in Wilmette.

I think most people who live around here have seen this beautiful building on Sheridan Road, across from the Wilmette Harbor.  If you haven’t been by lately or haven’t ever stopped by, I want to recommend putting this on your list of things to do.  And BRING A CAMERA!  Everyone there has one!  And there’s a photo opp in every direction.
If you get there and get a photo, perhaps you’d like to post and share it in the comment section of this blog.  I’m not sure how it will work, but give it a try and we’ll figure out a way.

You may be surprised at what you see as you walk around the scenic grounds.  For example, look below:

And people from all over the world and of all ages.  And everyone is so friendly!  Not surprising, given the nature, beauty, and serenity of the grounds.
I noticed that there are people there at all times of the day.  More visitors on weekends.

Keep in mind that you are allowed inside the building, but are asked to be quiet….and no photographs.  Be sure to allow time for a leisurely stroll.  And, afterwards, be sure to also stop by about three blocks west on Linden for the best scones in the world at Alchemy Coffee House!

Enjoy!
